About Me

Georgina left school in 1979 and has spent almost thirty years working in laboratory medicine. She became a qualified medical laboratory scientific officer (latterly biomedical scientist) in 1982 and went on to obtain postgraduate level qualifications in Clinical Biochemistry and Applied Immunology.

Georgina has worked extensively across the West London area, in both the NHS and the private sector.

For the last seven years, Georgina has held the position of laboratory training officer, and has extensive knowledge of teaching and training in the laboratory environment.

Georgina holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Greenwich and is qualified to teach in the age 16+ fields of further and higher education.

Georgina has been involved in educational projects in West London, such as the School Science Conference, the role of the Associate Practitioner grade in laboratory medicine and the pilot co-terminus degree in Biomedical Science with the University of Westminster.
